His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, surrounded by an assembly of nine hierarchs, blessed Saturday morning, 21 May 2016, theRomanian SaintsHall of the Patriarchal Residence in Bucharest.
In the past months, the Hall underwent extensive restoration and renovation works.
In his homily, His Beatitude spoke about the importance and the complexity of the works, Radio Trinitas reports.
After the blessing service, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel concelebrated the Divine Liturgy together with several hierarchs of the Romanian Orthodox Church on the dedication day of the Patriarchal Cathedral. At the end of the Liturgy, followed the awarding of the winners of the competitions entitledThe Church and the School of my soulandThe Orthodox Icon – The Light of Faith, organized by the Romanian Patriarchate.
