We appreciate your activity and your youthful endeavor and, in the same time, we appreciate the wisdom the wisdom of transmitting the blessed understanding of life to other young people”, His Beatitude said.

Afterwards, His Beatitude spoke about the importance of pilgrimage and encouraged the staff of the BASILICA Travel Center in their missionary activity.

Here we have not just people that sing beautifully, but also people who explain the Orthodox faith in a beautiful manner the orthodox faith in connection with the Holy Places. Pilgrimages are very important, they do not represent simple tourism, but they are moments to strengthen the faith and to better know the Holy Places. In their life, many people have heard in the Church talking about Jerusalem, about the Sea of Galilea, about Mount Tabor, but they haven’t seen these places with their own eyes, haven’t set foot on this Holy Places, but now they have this great opportunity. Therefore, the name of your choir is «the pilgrim», coming from pilgrimage, His Beatitude said.
