His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel Celebrates Seven Years Since His Enthronement as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church

 

PFDANIELTuesday, 30 September 2014, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel celebrates seven years since his enthronement as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church.

 

On the anniversary day, at 9.00 hours, the Patriarch of Romania will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Cathedral, assisted by hierarchs of the Holy Synod, priests and deacons.

 

After the Divine Liturgy, at 11.30 hours, the Te Deum service will be celebrated as thanksgiving to God for the benefits bestowed over the Romanian Orthodox Church, over the Romanian people and over His Beatitude during the seven years of patriarchal service.

 

Then, a short anniversary time will be held when congratulatory messages on behalf of the state central and local authorities and of some other public institutions will be delivered.

 

Hierarchs of the Holy Synod and laic members of the Church National Assembly, representatives of the central and local state authorities, personalities of the Romanian public life, members of the Standing Meetings of the Church National Council and of the Eparchial Assembly of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, clergy and lay people will attend the event.
