In his word, the Primate of the Orthodox Church spoke about the responsibility and the potential of young people in witnesing the orthodox faith.

“We need to know very well the local needs, but also to cultivate solidarity, cooperation and dialogue at national level. While this year we will continue to cultivate dialogue and cooperation at international level. Therefore, the International meeting of the Orthodox youth will take place at the beginning of September, and this event will be followed by an International Orthodox Congress of those responsible for youth education in every Autocephalous Church. We need to know the problems, requests, challenges, but also the new missionary potential of young people at local, regional, metropolitan, national and international scale. This is the true synodical Orthodoxy, that of the gatherings which complement and support each other”.

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel offered those present the Orthodox Christian calendar – 2016 and some volumes, published by the Publishing Houses of the Romanian Patriarchate.
